Due to the continuing success and growth, the organisation is currently looking for a Project Manager in service delivery. A Project Manager is appointed to all projects at the start of the initiation phase and acts as the single point of contact between the customer organisation and the organisation itself. This includes appointed sub-contractors where applicable.

Functieomschrijving

The Project Manager is also responsible for achieving the customer satisfaction, revenue, profit and quality standards for their assigned projects.
A key responsibility of the Project Manager is production of the Statement of Work. This determines, with the agreement of the customer, the organisation and governance methods to be used throughout the project.

The organisation make extensive use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications in the management and administration of projects including Microsoft Project for planning and control purposes.
In addition to managing customer projects Project Managers will also work on internal business improvement projects and support the Professional Services Manager in developing and improving business practices.

As a Project Manager your responsibilities go beyond one project. You shall be responsible for following key responsibilities:

Planning Project Resources
·         feasible plan that achieves the goals and objectives of the project and aligns with the organisation’s overall business strategy;

·         You are not only responsible to prepare blueprint with which to run the project, but a critical part of the pitch to get approval for the project. That means, overall responsibility for project planning and delivery;

·         Directing & Managing Project Work;

·         Stakeholder & Communication Management;

·         Scope Management and Change Control;

·         Project Issue and Risk Management;

·         Customer facing Status Reporting and Project Health;

·         Working with Customer Project Manager on Planning and Monitoring the Project;

·         Project Financial Management, Profitability and Accurate Revenue Forecasting.

Assembling and Leading Project Team
·         Take a leadership role to ensure smooth running of project delivery. Assign and monitor team tasks and deadlines, give them the tools to collaborate Plan regularly meeting with internal stakeholder and customer to track and update status to chart the project progress, while reallocate resources as needed to avoid blocking team members or overburdening them;

·         Created project governance standard reporting tool Setting a basic PMO office;

·         Ensure complete project documentation;

·         Managing cross-functional project team(s). Establishing and maintaining a spirit that encourages teams to perform in cross-functional international and global projects;

·         Developing, encouraging and motivating subordinates, peers and project members to sustainably perform to their best capabilities;

·         Manager resource pool in order to maximum utilisation of resources without affecting their motivation.

Time Management
·         While communications is key to addresses changes and make sure everyone is doing what they need to do when they need to do it. You must also define, schedule and accurately estimate the task duration to develop and maintain a realistic schedule;

·         Track project time and expenses via regular submission of time sheets and expense Submission;

·         Subcontractor-Project Control (Partners, Global Delivery, and ISVs);

·         Efficiency in Escalation Management (from customer and internally).

Budget:
·         Figuring out what the proper funding for the project is, having that get accepted and then keeping the project within or under that figure is often what makes or breaks a project;

·         Ensure stakeholders deliverables on time and within budget;

·         Ensure all work order amendments and control and track general contract administration;

·         Project Financial Management, Profitability and Accurate Revenue Forecasting.

Manage Issues and Risk
·         Aligning all stakeholders and disciplines, resolving any possible conflicts and controversial issues;

·         Managing and mitigating project risks in order to avoid non-accomplishment or failure of projects which would seriously endanger the success of Elevator Technology;

·         Identifying, analysing and prioritising strategic actions required to resolve critical project situations;

·         Prepare yourself and team for any unexpected issue and work towards resolving them quickly, so as they don’t take your project off-track.

Skills & Experience
·         Experience with other MS solution such as AX2012, D365 is desirable;

·         Experience with CRM and BI reporting;

·         International project delivery experience;

·         Graduate or master’s degree level or equivalent in a related discipline;

·         Formal training in Project Management (PMI or PRINCE2);

·         Previous experience of managing projects with ongoing development requirements (i.e. not just straightforward roll out);

·         Must have managed ERP projects in a retail environment;

·         Must have worked as a Project Manager for an ERP Microsoft partner;

·         Experience of Change Management & Change control processes;

·         Ability to work with stakeholders at differing levels of seniority;

·         Ability to build and maintain customer relationships including responsibility for commercial activity;

·         Presentation skills;

·         Highly motivated and results driven;

·         Good written and verbal communication skills;

·         Able to work on own initiative, be self-motivating and make own decisions with minimum of supervision;

·         Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritise work load to meet varied and demanding deadlines;

·         Good time management skills;

·         Confident in own ability and able to contribute effectively to business development activities;

·         First class communication skills;

·         Tenacious – follows up queries until they are resolved.
